Nutritional run down of Chinese ants http://www.mijst.mju.ac.th/vol4/101-112.pdf

You can get the black and the red&black ants on aliexpress. You can also buy ant eggs but they cost twice as much. We get silkworm Pupa on there for in the main food.

Mine never liked crickets. Stewie kind of did but only when they were pin heads. They are good nutrition though. Roaches are Awesome. I'm going to buy some of those next time instead of the silkworm now that they have dried roaches for sale too. Eventually breeding them would be good though. Pua found some wood roaches out back before and really enjoyed them. She also loves any soft bodied grub or safe caterpillar.

Oh on the ant eggs they turned out to be black ant eggs and some ants mixed in. They don't really like the black ants just the red&black. Picky little divas. Pua will eat them some now that I blended the ants and eggs up into a powder but she says they still don't taste as good as red&back.

Just got some dried Cherry cockroaches. They are small enough Pua can suck them right up and she loves them. They are expensive though. I may need to consider ordering some live and breeding them.

The ants are tastier(so Pua says) when not ordered in winter. These now came with some winged breeders in there. So spring and summer red/black ants.
