Actually from the little I read about pale fox they probably are one of the few actual omnivore foxes. They eat a lot of vegetation and their molars are designed for that.

Oooh, really? I had no idea, I assumed they were just as much a carnivore as fennecs.

3 Dogs, 2 horses, 1 donkey, ducks, chickens, and a coatimundi currently

Exotic "wishlist": red fox, gray fox, bat eared fox, mink, sand cat, owl (any species).

Info on pale fox is actually pretty scarce so, unfortunately for the pale foxes being fed by people, it's kind of up in the air. I did a quick review of what info I could find, since more people will be getting them now. viewtopic.php?f=111&t=14452&p=137915#p137915 A really rough guess I would probably feed 2/3 animal protein mostly insects and 1/3 plant mostly vegetation and only little bit of fruit.

I'm not really fond of the fact that pale foxes and sand cats are becoming more popular. While I appreciate such animals being somewhat available, seeing them on a site like Underground Reptiles is too much. I hate seeing animals available to almost anyone. That goes for exotics and domestics alike. Their rarity helps keep them away from idiots.

At least they are extremely expensive though.

The only reason there are so many right now is because of fresh imports. Hopefully most go to breeders who will then vet people who buy the future kits.

URG, my nose isn't stuffy anymore and I can breath, but I've recently been having stomach aches so I am still going to wait on making videos... And its been so nice out recently, but it'll be hot outside soon. I'm missing all my best chances.

Yeah, that's probably what will happen. It's just seeing them on a site that's available to almost anyone kinda makes my skin crawl. The pale foxes probably make better pets than fennecs, and look very similar, so I do hope that eventually more people look to those instead. Fennecs have gotten far too popular in my opinion. What I'm really worried about though is that many people may try and take advantage of their sudden surge in popularity (I know sand cats have the potential to end up as fennecs did) and begin overbreeding them and try to make a quick buck off of them. It's kinda what happens with any animal that gets popular, unfortunately. Which is why I think most animals should just remain a bit rare and hard to find (but not completely unavailable, of course).

Whereas, truth to tell, even the Lemons that we buy are unripe Lemons.

What you can't just say something like that and not give any info on what an actual ripe lemon is like.

Plenty, but just a moment ago I clicked on a Fb live video. I normally don't but thought it was a monkey in the preview, nope just someone in a dark room playing music, what a waste. Like why do people live stream nothing anyway?

Dropped my phone while hiking. It's broken for good this time, despite having an otterbox.

Under Ground Reptiles is saying their pale foxes are omnivores. Bleh.

That's a garbage company, look up their customer reviews on the Board of Inquiry on Faunaclassifieds.

Anteaters are so hard to draw. Not doing too bad but this one hand keeps coming out looking mangle, weird hands and a weird angle for that one.

...I don't think it looks right next to the fennec as channel art

A little too different. Maybe need to go a bit more big head cartoony with the anteater, but then It'll probably have to be sitting.

To get to a lake I live near, I have to walk past some guy's property, and he always yells at me for being too close.

TG, I actually think it looks fantastic. I see what you're saying, but the artwork is really, really good.

I'm Fable and Ifrit's mommy. Also mommy to Carousel, Breeze, and a bunch of snakes, lizards, and spiders. Oh, and one amphibian!

Thank you. I think the main thing that bothers me is the size difference. To get the whole anteater on there made the head so much smaller than the fennec's. It's a lot batter than the old photo I used to have thrown up there though so it'll work till/if I decide to try again.

"I hope you're a zookeeper or something, because what you do is cruel."

On my new anteater affection video

... pbk0h00410

Seriously he couldn't find something better like the one where she's looking out the window longingly waiting for the sun to set before she goes out? At least it's slightly reasonable to say such things on that one. She was longing for the world to be plunged into darkness though, not to be free. But no it's she loves you, how cruel, lol, okay.

Today I remembered that I fail at arguing, as a fool (who seems to be defending that vegan h***ot who forced a vegan diet to a fennec) in youtube refuted my points at a comment I made and I don't know how to refute her back.
